Help
A LITTLE HELPING HAND

Make yourself at home.

Everything you need to collect your favourites, keep track of what you wear and make My Popsy your own.

Your account

First things first.

Sign up and sign in

Create an account with a username, email address and password. Usernames use 2–80 letters, numbers, dots, underscores or hyphens, with no spaces. New accounts wait for admin approval; you’ll receive an email when approved. Sign in with your username or email address and your password. Safari and other password managers can offer to save your login.

Forgotten your password?

Choose Forgot your password? on the sign-in page and enter the email linked to your account. Follow the email link to choose a new password. Check your junk folder if it doesn’t arrive.

Changing your details

Open Settings to change your username, email or password. Changing your username requires your current password. Keep your email up to date so password reset messages reach you.

Your wardrobe is tied to your account, so you can sign in from another device to see it too.

Adding and editing outfits

Your wardrobe, your way.

  1. Choose Add an outfit, enter a name and add the details you’d like to remember.
  2. Add one or more photos, a price, purchase date, size, style, group and notes. Only the name is required.
  3. Choose Save changes. Open an outfit and select Edit outfit whenever you want to update it.

Your collection can include dresses, jumpsuits, tops or anything else in your wardrobe. Notes are handy for fit, alterations or what you like to wear with an item.

Large photos may be reduced in size to keep your wardrobe quick to browse. Keep the original on your phone if you need it at full camera resolution for printing or editing.

Search your collection by name, then combine the group, style and size dropdowns—for example, size 12 jumpers in your Winter clothes bag group. Use Sort by and Order to sort by date added, size, group, style or wear count in ascending or descending order. Date added defaults to newest first. These controls also work in Archived. Clear filters removes the search and filters while keeping your chosen sort order.

Wear counter and history

A little look back.

Tap the + next to an outfit, or Wore it on its details page, to add a wear without editing the outfit.

Open the outfit’s details to see its cost per wear (price divided by wears), timestamps and a month-by-month graph for the last year. Cost per wear appears once you have entered a price and logged a wear. Individual wear dates are recorded from when the history feature was introduced; older counter totals may not have dated entries.

Browse Popsy

Find a new favourite.

Open Browse Popsy, choose a clothing collection, then search, filter by style or colour, or change the sort order. Choose View on Popsy to see an item on the official shop.

Use Add to wishlist to save something for later, or Add to collection if it’s already yours. On the edit screen, add your own size, group, purchase date and notes, then save.

Catalogue information is refreshed periodically. Products, prices and availability can change, so check the official listing for current details.

Your wishlist

One day, perhaps.

Keep outfits you’re considering in Wishlist. Follow an item’s Popsy link to see its official listing.

When you buy an item, choose Move to collection on its wishlist card. It moves into your wardrobe and opens for editing, so you can add your personal details. The remove button takes an item off your wishlist.

Archive or remove an outfit

A little tidy-up.

Archive for later

Open an outfit and choose Archive outfit. It moves out of the main collection into Archived, where you can still view it. Choose Move back to collection to restore it. This is useful for items you no longer wear or have passed on.

Remove permanently

On the outfit details page, Remove permanently deletes the outfit and its photos after confirmation. This cannot be undone, so archive it instead if you may want the record later.

Sizes, styles and outfit groups

Make it yours.

These lists keep your wardrobe organised. New accounts start without outfit groups.

  • Sizes: add number or letter sizes, such as 12, 16 or M.
  • Styles: describe the outfit, such as jumpsuit, cardigan or midi dress.
  • Outfit groups: organise items your way, such as Winter clothes bag or Favourite outfits.

In Settings, add or remove entries from these lists. You can also use Add new beside a dropdown while adding or editing an outfit. Removing an entry does not remove your outfits; affected outfits may no longer have that size, style or group selected.

Light and dark mode

Set the mood.

Use the sun or moon button at the top of the site to switch themes. Your choice is remembered in that browser for your account. Before you choose a theme, the site follows your device’s light or dark setting.

Add My Popsy to your Home Screen

A shortcut to happy.

Put My Popsy alongside your apps for quick access. When installed as a web app, it can open in its own window without the usual browser address bar. Your collection stays on the website, and an internet connection is needed.

On iPhone or iPad

  1. Open mypopsy.co.uk in Safari.
  2. Tap Share (or the page menu, then Share), then choose Add to Home Screen.
  3. If shown, turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add.

If the option is missing, scroll to the bottom of the share sheet and use Edit Actions to add it. Menu wording can vary by iOS version.

On Android

  1. Open mypopsy.co.uk in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu, then choose Add to Home screen or Install app.
  3. Follow the prompt to add the icon. Wording can differ between devices and browsers.

If My Popsy offers an install prompt, you can use that too. Removing the Home Screen icon removes the shortcut; it does not delete your account or collection.

Helpful answers

A little extra help.

Why can’t I see a product?

Catalogue updates are periodic and an item may no longer be available or may not appear in the current catalogue. You can still add an outfit manually.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. In Settings, choose Delete my account and confirm with your current password. This permanently removes your account and associated wardrobe data, including outfits, photos and wishlist items.

Where do I buy the clothes?

My Popsy is a user-created collection site. Purchases and current product information are on the official Popsy Clothing website.
